Urban Aggriville is a dynamic project that integrates agriculture, commerce, and housing in a vibrant urban space.
At the heart of the site, Urban Aggriville connects the main public pathways to the heritage tomb and surrounding green spaces, acting as a hub for a variety of activities. Urban farming lies at the core of the project, with produce from these farms sold through market spaces that directly connect to the farms, offering both local and external visitors access to fresh goods.
The first floor features a blend of farm spaces, an elderly care center, and commercial areas, fostering interaction between residents and visitors. This floor is designed as a community-focused zone where people can engage with one another and with outsiders. The second floor houses additional commercial spaces, marking the upper limit of public areas.
From the third floor upwards, the site shifts to a more private environment. This is where the green corridor that connects the site begins, leading to residential units. The circulation spaces for residents are designed to be discreet, ensuring privacy while maintaining easy access to communal areas.
This design strategy creates a balance between public engagement and private living, allowing residents to interact with visitors while keeping their personal spaces separate and secure. By providing distinct zones for public and private activities, Urban Aggriville fosters a strong sense of community without compromising the privacy of its residents.
