In the past, analog was dominant, but due to the development of digital technology, digital now plays a very important role. In the future, digital technology is expected to expand further and be used in more areas. However, digital technology cannot completely replace analog, and analog technology is expected to remain.
So, I decided to name the project ‘stack’ to convey the meaning that digital was created by stacking analog and that analog should not disappear.
Digital has the advantage of being more convenient than analog, but it also has the disadvantage of reducing the experience process by using digital. Therefore, we create a space and provide people with opportunities for experience.
Providing a synergistic space where digital and analog are connected and complement each other.
When we think about the past and future in relation to books that are becoming increasingly digital, we can list the types of books from their beginning to their development. Each program that can use these books is presented, showing the history of books from analog to digital, and showing that they all still exist.
And analog programs were placed on the lower floor to encourage the use of currently underused analog programs and paper books, and well-used and flexible digital programs were placed on the upper floor.
