Have you ever imagined a world without cell phones and the Internet?
Such a world would feel very stuffy for a person living in the modern world.
But on the contrary, is there no need for a world without cell phones and the Internet? It is necessary to think about.
In modern times, digital information is so vast that it is called a sea of information.
Thanks to this vastness, we can easily find and use information anywhere, anytime.
But because of this endless vastness, we are also being suppressed. And we can't escape the vastness anywhere or at any time.
Then, we need a space to escape from this endless vastness.
Information is like rain. The right amount of rain(=information) helps us grow and live.
But too much rain causes flooding. Like too much digital information causing flood information.
The library should be a space to prepare for floods. Because the library is a space of publicity and information.
In the mass study, there were two concepts and thoughts that I carried out while maintaining them: mass that blends into the topography, an iconic shape reminiscent of a house, and Masa-dong B with a gable roof.
So I used two processes to form mass.
First, the connection between the two buildings using the oblique lines of the roof
Second, the connection between topography and buildings
Except for the first building used, the rest of the building was deleted and a boundary line was created to connect the two. Third, a new mass was created to connect A and B using the oblique lines of the gable roof.
And the topography was raised and folded based on the center point.

Space directly close to the roof.
Changes in the height of space depending on where you stand.

Space to enter through the longest line movement.
Vertical contrast between bright and dark spaces where the library is located.
01
The view from the courtyard when you enter the space for the first time
Repeated and discontinuous views overlapping with nature seen in between due to repeated arrangements of columns
A space where you can rest leaning on the diagonal wall
02
The distinction between the roof and the wall is ambiguous, but there is a distinction.
Light coming through the roof.
High ceilings and a sense of form.
03
A cross-section of eyes between the second and first floors.
Light falling through the roof.
A sense of the shape of a roof given by the light flowing along the surface of the roof.
04
The rhythm of the columns following the existing arrangement of truss structures
A sense of space given through a space that is stretched along a long stretch of the column.
Changes in the sense of space as the height of the floor gradually decreases
