My building’s program that I designed in 3-1 Studio is the 'Farm' Library, and I wanted to use the wood in my design’s building. And, to make a 'Farm', I maded a farm-style rooftop garden on the roof. I needed something to support the heavy rooftop. So, I used Glulam as a structure and CLT as a flat slab. And because of my design, there is no solid wall on the elevation of the building and all of it is filled with glasses. So I adopted the plant facade system (vertical garden system) on the elevation to prevent the light from coming in too much. Let's take a closer look at the rooftop garden system and plant façade system.
