죽음은 왜 무섭고 경외시되어야하며 우리 곁이 아니라 멀리 위치해 있어야만 하는가? 죽음은 삶과 함께일 때 의미를 가지며 더 풍요로울 수 있다.

변화하는 장례문화에 발맞춰 사람들의 수요가 높아지고있는 자연장을 새로운 건축물의 형태로 제안해보고자 한다. 장사시설이 교외가 아니라 도심지 안으로 들어왔을때, 우리의 일상과 맞닿아있을 때, 우리는 어떤 태도를 취해야하는지, 어떻게 반응해야하는지를 생각해본다.

Why should death be scary and awe and should be located far away, not by ourselves? Death has meaning when it is with life and can be richer.

In line with the changing culture of funerals, I intend to propose a natural burial in which demand is increasing in the form of new buildings. When funeral facilities come into the city, not in the suburbs, when it is in contact with our daily lives, we think about what attitudes we should take and how we could react.
