Quiet Othello : Social condenser in National Medical Center

Dongdaemun is one of the most popular touristic places in Seoul. Just a few blocks from there, tranquil courtyard and little brick building still remain.

But within a couple of years, there will be many changes including National Medical Center. A third of hospital will still be there, but rest of them will be another shopping district. Tranquil courtyard in the crowded place like Dongdaemun should be respected and available for people from the hospital and other countries. So, I tried to keep the current situation as long as I can and give a space for local people and tourist as well.
