The main goal of this assignment is to develop the structural and constructive strategies of the projects. Students are required to choose a structural system, a constructive method and building materials. But this is not merely a technical exercise. Special emphasis will be placed on the spatial, sensorial and atmospheric qualities afforded by the choice of materials, construction methods and structural systems. The focus is to define the tectonic aspect of the project at 3 different but complementary levels: • Structural concept • Façade design • Constructive development of a typical portion of the project
